Mohammad Daud Hedayati was born in 1990. He was interested in Arts from his childhood. in 2005 he graduated from the GMMC Art Center. Shortly after he obtained an additional degree in Graphic design from the ECC ( Korean Institute) in Kabul.

 

He is interested in most art forms and has also been working in the VISUAL ARTS since 2012, creating 2D&3D animations and Visual Effects and taking these through from pre-production to post-production.

He is also keen to pass on his knowledge to the benefit of fellow artists which is why he, from time to time, has organized free workshops in Arts.

 

Since graduating he has exhibited his work in various exhibition across Afghanistan as well as abroad.

  • June 2014 contributing artist at the " Nimm Wahr ( Perceive)"-Exhibition, Goethe Institute Kabul

  • 2013 & 2014 Afghan Animation Festival at the Goethe Institut Kabul

  • November 2013 contributing artist "Art price Competition" at Bagh-e Babur: Queen's Palace in Kabul

  • July/August 2012 contributing artist for the "Royal Academy Summer Exhibition" in London, UK

  • December 2010 contributing artist for an exhibition at the French Cultural Centre, Kabul

  • 2008 contributing artist at the GMMC-exhibition, Kabul

 

With his work he has received the following awards:

  • 2013 winner of "Afghanistan Animation Festival" that was conducted by the Goethe Institute in Afghanistan.

  • 2012 winner of "Afghanistan Contemporary Art"-price competition

  • 2011 winner of "Afghanistan Social Enterprise" challenge which was conducted by the British Council of Afghanistan
